Innovators from across the country gathered at IIIT-Delhi for Hack4Health, a national HealthTech hackathon sponsored by HORIBA India.
IIIT Delhi: HealthTech Hackathon held at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Delhi) brought together some of the brightest minds from across India to tackle pressing healthcare challenges through AI and data-driven innovation. Organized by the IIITD Innovation & Incubation Center (IIITD-IC) and sponsored by HORIBA India as part of its CSR initiative, the two-day event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 243 teams comprising students, professionals, and early-stage innovators. Following a rigorous national-level pitch submission phase in May–June 2025, 65 teams were shortlisted for the offline round hosted on campus.
The hackathon featured a structured format, including two focused mentoring and evaluation sessions, a 24-hour coding sprint, and multiple networking opportunities. This rigorous process led to the selection of the top 10 teams, who pitched their solutions to a distinguished jury comprising Dr. Ruchi Singh, Dr. Megha Sharma, Prof. Neetu Singh, Dr. Vinish Kathuria, and Addison Appu. The top honor went to Team Elite Achievers, who won the first prize of INR 80,000 for their innovative solution in Emergency Response & First Line of Cure, presenting a smart, real-time support system designed for immediate medical intervention during critical situations. Oxi Wizards and Zackers secured the second and third prizes for their work on Smarter Preventive Care and Smart Diagnostics with Minimal Data, respectively. All offline-round participants were awarded certificates, branded merchandise, and participation goodies in recognition of their efforts and innovation.
