IIIT Delhi: Spot Round Admissions for MTech in Computational Biology

The spot round admissions are open for MTech in Computational Biology at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi), apply latest by July 25, 2022.

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) has invited applications for admission to MTech in Computational Biology (CB) latest by July 25, 2022. For the spot round admissions, fresh applications will also be considered.

The spot round admissions will be conducted offline at the IIIT-Delhi campus on July 26, 2022 (Tuesday) to fill the vacant seats (if any) in MTech (CB) programs for GATE candidates. The exact number of vacancies will be announced on July 23, 2022 (Saturday).

Eligibility for Spot Round 

As per the IIIT Delhi's notification, the following candidates are eligible for the spot round:

• Those candidates who have been allotted a seat in some round but did not accept the offer of admission.
• Those who have applied for CSE & ECE, but have not been offered admission till Round 4 (Only GATE Seats).
• Those candidates who have withdrawn their admission at any stage.

These candidates need to apply afresh here by June 25, 2022 (Monday) and come with the application form. Then those candidates have to fill out the spot round willingness form. However, the candidates who have already accepted the offer of admission and have not taken withdrawal are NOT allowed to participate in the spot round.

Those candidates who’ve not given the interview for admission in MTech (CB) earlier will have to report at the waiting area for SPOT Round Interview Venue: Room No. A-318, 3 rd Floor, R & D Building, IIIT- Delhi, Okhla Phase III, Delhi-110020 on July 26 2022(Tuesday) at 08:30 AM to give their offline interview. A Cut Off & Merit List will be prepared after the interview on the same day. 

All the candidates who’ve given the interview for admission to MTech (CB) program earlier on May 28 2022 & in the SPOT Round (Phase 01) on July 26 2022, must get a Demand Draft issued for INR 90,000 in favour of “IIITD Collections” payable at New Delhi before reporting for the SPOT round Venue.

The candidates must report to the waiting area for their physical document verification and must bring all original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies of the documents.
