IIT Madras has started admissions for its globally accessible BS degrees in Data Science and Electronic Systems, designed for both students and working professionals.

IIT Madras BS Programs: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is accepting applications for its upcoming batch of BS Degree Programs in Data Science and Applications, and Electronic Systems. Those interested can fill up the IIT Madras BS Degree Programs in Data Science and Applications, and Electronic Systems application till May 20, 2025. Those who have cleared JEE Main are eligible for direct admission, while others can gain entry by completing a four-week online preparatory module followed by an in-person qualifying exam.

They can apply for BS Degree Programs in Data Science and Applications at study.iitm.ac.in/. The Data Science program is open to students from any stream (Commerce, Science, etc.) with Class 10 Math and English. The Electronic Systems program requires students to have studied Physics and Math in Class 11th and 12th.

BS in Data Science & Electronic Systems

This globally accessible, flexible, and inclusive undergraduate program is tailored for students and working professionals eager to pursue IIT education without the constraints of JEE or seat limitations. Currently, over 38,000 active students, including professionals, career switchers, international learners, and recent Class 12th graduates, are enrolled. The program is attracting increasing interest from individuals with non-engineering backgrounds and working women, with 25% female enrollment and 20% students aged over 30.
