IIT Patna and ISEN Yncréa Ouest, France sign MoU for academic, research collaboration

This initiative includes exchange of students, co-training of PhD students and exchange of faculty members and research cooperation.

The Indian Institute of Technology Patna has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ISEN (Institut supérieur de l'électronique et du numérique) Yncrea Ouest, France, to enhance relations between the two universities and to develop academic and cultural interchange in the areas of education, research and other activities, agree to cooperate and work together toward the internationalization of higher education.

The areas of cooperation will include any program offered at either university which is felt to be desirable and feasible for the development and strengthening of cooperative relationships between the two institutions.

This initiative includes exchange of students, co-training of PhD students and exchange of faculty members and research cooperation.

The MoU will bring synergy and coherence in the activities being carried out at both the Institutes in this domain.

The signature of Partnership Agreement was jointly done by Director, Prof. T. N. Singh (IIT Patna) and Deputy Director Stéphane BROCHE (ISEN Yncrea Ouest, France). Prof. T.N. Singh addressed the gathering and said, “I congratulate both the institute very best and hope faculty and students from both the country will be benefitted with this MoU. This MoU will surely help each other to achieve our goals”.

As per the institute, the collaboration would definitely bring together the knowledge, expertise and research of IIT Patna and ISEN Yncrea Ouest, France in emerging areas of science, technology and engineering.
