This year, 468 students have enrolled in the M.Tech, M.Sc, and Ph.D. programs, including 113 female students. The overall admission numbers may increase as some admission processes are still ongoing. The event saw enthusiastic participation not only from the newly admitted students but also from their parents and guardians.

This year, 468 students have enrolled in the M.Tech, M.Sc, and Ph.D. programs, including 113 female students.

Indian Institute of Technology Patna welcomed new students for M.Tech, M.Sc, and Ph.D. programs for the 2025–26 session. They organized an Induction and Orientation Program for this.

The program helped students learn about Academic structure, Research opportunities, Hostel life, Library and wellness facilities, Career development programs, and Other resources at the institute. The main goal was to help students understand the campus and prepare for overall development.
This year, 468 students joined these programs, and 113 of them are female students. The number may increase because some admissions are still going on. Parents and guardians also joined the event.
Prof. T.N. Singh gave an inspiring speech. He said IIT Patna is improving in education, research, and innovation. He told students to stay focused, work hard, and be ready for challenges.
Prof. A.K. Thakur spoke about the institute’s progress and research diversity. He motivated students to use all opportunities. Prof. B.N. Singh also shared motivational words
