Delhi University (DU) has released the first round of undergraduate seat allocations under its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) 2025. A total of 93,166 candidates have been allocated seats across categories such as UR, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, Sikh Minorities, PwBD, Kashmiri Migrants (KM), Single Girl Child, and Orphan (Male and Female).
As per official data shared by the university:
1,325 seats have been allocated to Single Girl Child applicants
259 orphan candidates have secured seats, including 127 females and 132 males
Top programmes witnessing high competition include BCom (Hons), BA (Hons) Political Science, BA (Hons) Psychology, and BSc (Hons) Computer Science, particularly in colleges like Hindu College, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Miranda House, Hansraj College, and Lady Shri Ram College.
The minimum allocation score and ranks for each course-college combination are available on students' dashboards and will also be made publicly accessible on the universityโs admission website: admission.uod.ac.in.
Performance-Based Course Allocations in Round 3
Delhi University clarified that allocations for five performance-based undergraduate programmes will be carried out in Round 3. These include:
B.A. (Hons) Hindustani Music
B.A. (Hons) Karnataka Music
B.A. (Hons) Percussion Music
B.Sc. in Physical Education, Health Education and Sports
Bachelor of Fine Art
Applicants to these programmes are advised to check trial schedules published by the respective colleges/departments.
DU PG Admissions 2025: Spot Round I Underway
Delhi University has also opened Spot Round I for postgraduate (PG) admissions. Candidates who registered for CSAS (PG) 2025 but havenโt secured admission can now opt in through their CSAS-PG dashboard by selecting 'Spot Admission' for the desired programme(s).
Only those who opt for the spot round will be considered. Candidates are advised to regularly check the admission portal for programme-specific availability and instructions.
