IIT Roorkee, Masai to offer Data Science-AI, Machine Learning-AI, Software Engg with AI and Prompt Engg

Participants who successfully complete the coursework and assessments will receive a certificate from the E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee.

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee’s Electronics & ICT Academy (E&ICT Academy) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Masai to jointly launch online certification programmes to address growing demand for skilled professionals in emerging AI-driven and digital technology domains.

As per a release issued by academy, E&ICT Academy will provide industry-relevant, application-oriented training in areas like Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DS-AI), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI-ML), Software Engineering with AI and Prompt Engineering.

These programmes will support both entry-level learners and working professionals, including those from non-technical backgrounds, through a structured blend of live instructional sessions and hands-on learning.

Prof. Sanjeev Manhas, Chief Investigator, E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, said, “The digital ecosystem today requires professionals who can apply AI, ML, and software development skills to address real-world challenges. These programmes are structured to support India’s future workforce needs in priority technology domains.”

The initiative aims to help learners build meaningful portfolios and enhance their preparedness for technology roles in an increasingly AI-driven job market.”

Participants who successfully complete the coursework and assessments will receive a certificate from the E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee. In addition to the online modules, learners will have the option to participate in a two- to three-day campus immersion programme at IIT Roorkee, including project presentations and certificate and grade sheet distribution.
