JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) Announces JET 2026 Dates, Opens Applications for B. Tech Programmes
JET 2026 examination is scheduled for early April 2026 and will be held across multiple slots on 9 and 10 April 2026.
JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) has started application process for JAIN Entrance Test (JET) 2026 for its B.Tech courses. These courses are designed to prepare students for evolving demands of global engineering landscape.
JET 2026 will be conducted as a remotely proctored online exam helping aspiring engineers from across country to appear for test from comfort of their homes. This flexible and secure assessment format ensures wider access while maintaining high academic standards.
JET 2026 examination is scheduled for early April 2026 and will be held across multiple slots on 9 and 10 April 2026. On both days, candidates may choose between a morning slot or an afternoon slot. List of qualified candidates will be announced on 11 April 2026 at 4:00 PM.
As per a release issued by the university it has reserved 15 per cent of total intake under Scholarship (SCR) category. High-performing students in national-level entrance examinations such as JEE Main, KCET, COMEDK or EAMCET may be exempted from JET written test and considered directly for SCR interview and counselling process, subject to their rank and percentile.
Top scorers in JET 2026 will be eligible for a 25 per cent scholarship in the first year of study. Additionally, students from Defence and SC/ST categories are eligible for a 10 per cent scholarship applicable across all four years of the programme, while sports scholarships are available for candidates who have demonstrated excellence at recognised competitive levels.
Following announcement of results on 11 April 2026, SCR and merit-based counselling will be conducted. Final date for admission confirmation has been set as 25 April 2026.
No, JEE Main application form can only be filled online. The application form of JEE Main is released only in online mode on the website jeemain.nta.ac.in. There is no option of filling the application form in offline mode. Candidates who do not have a laptop/personal computer can visit the computer centre/common service centres to fill the application form. While filling the JEE Main 2026 application form, candidates will also have to upload scanned image of their photo and signature. Candidates belonging to reserved category (Gen-EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) also need to upload the category certificate.
Candidates can pay JEE Main application fees using any one of the following method
- Credit/debit card of any nationalised bank
- Internet banking
- UPI
- Paytm
Before paying the application fee, candidates should check whether there is requisite balance in the Bank Account / Wallet/Debit/credit card. In case any candidate faces difficulty in the payment of application fees, they can contact NTA helpline number.
