JEE Main 2025 Day 4 Concludes; Check Expected Safe Score for JEE Advanced Qualification
The JEE Main 2025 BE/BTech exam took place today in two shifts, marking the fourth day of the January session. After each day and shift, experts analyze the data to predict the minimum marks required to qualify for the JEE Advanced exam. Students rated the JEE Main 2025 exam on January 28, today as moderately difficult. According to experts, the expected JEE Main 2025 marks required to qualify for the JEE Advanced exam after day 4 will be around 110 to 140 marks out of 300. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the minimum marks or JEE Main cutoff for JEE Advanced 2025, along with the session 2 results. Only candidates who score above the cutoff will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. JEE Main serves as the screening test for JEE Advanced, which is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programs at IITs. The top 2.5 lakh rank holders of JEE Main, including students from both unreserved and reserved categories, will be selected to appear for JEE Advanced 2025.

NTA has announced the JEE Main 2026 exam date for Session 2. JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam will be held from 2nd April 2026 to 9th April 2026. The JEE Main Application Form 2026 for Session 2 will be available on the website.
The JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be held ion May 18. JEE Advanced 2025 will be conducted by IIT Kanpur. JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates who achieve rank among the top 2.5 lakh candidates could apply for JEE Advanced exam. Candidates can appear in JEE Advanced two consecutive times. JEE Advanced 2025 will be held in CBT mode and there will be 2 papers. Each paper will have 3 sections: Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Candidates had to attempt both papers 1 and 2 to be eligible for admission to the IITs.

Mathematics: Students found the Mathematics section challenging, and it took them longer than expected to complete.
Physics: Many students informed that Physics section was easy.
Chemistry: The Chemistry section had the highest proportion of questions from Organic and Physical Chemistry.
The JEE Main 2025 cutoff for JEE Advanced will be announced as percentile scores. Since candidates take the exam in different shifts on different days, their raw scores are normalised to calculate the percentile score. The formula for converting raw scores to percentile marks is available on the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
According to candidates who appeared for the exam today, the JEE Main 2025 test saw math as the most difficult section, chemistry as the easiest, and physics as moderate. The final day of the JEE Main 2025 BE/BTech exam is set for January 29. The BArch/BPlan paper will be held on January 30, from 3 pm to 6 pm.
