JEE Main 2026 April Session Exam: Security Breach Reported

JEE Main 2026 Security Breach: As per recent updates, JEE Main is suspected alleged tampering of computer sets, which were supposed to be used to conduct engineering entrance test. This incident was reported from Ramgarh district in Jharkhand, raising concerns ahead of JEE Main 2026 April session exam

This issue surfaced after Radha Govind University filed complaint at Ramgarh Police Station. The university alleged that some individuals had tampered with computer systems in exam centre a few days before JEE Main April exam.

 JEE Main 2026 April Session Controversy: Three Accused Arrested

Acting on complaint, local administration investigated and arrested three individuals. Among those arrested is a computer operator working at university. They are suspected of attempting to manipulate computer systems. Ramgarh Deputy Commissioner confirmed that detailed probe has been ordered regarding JEE Main 2026 security breach. Investigation is being led by Sub-Divisional Officer, who has been asked to submit a report soon.

This incident took place on March 29, when lab staff member noticed suspicious activity. When questioned, they claimed that they were technical staff handling JEE Main exam related work. Following arrests, police confiscated many items including 70 monitors, three CPUs, three mobile phones and SUV. Authorities have also informed exam conducting body and its technology partner about incident. Officials have asked authorities to review whether JEE Main centre 2026 is suitable for conducting of examination or not.

JEE Main 2026 April Session Dates

JEE Main Session 2 exam 2026 for BE/BTech, BArch and BPlanning will be held on April 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 in computer based mode. The first shift will take place from 9 AM to 12 PM, while JEE Main second shift will be conducted from 3 to 6 PM.
