JEE Main 2026: NTA Asks Non-Aadhaar Applicants to Submit Attested Certificate Before January 7

NTA has sent emails to those candidates who have used identity documents like PAN Card / Indian Passport / Non-Indian Passport to fill the JEE Main application form. Such candidates have to now upload an additional document - "Photo Verification Certificate", available under their respective logins at jeemain.nta.nic.in, by January 7. To download this certificate, candidates have to login at jeemain.nta.nic.in using their JEE Main 2026 application number and password.

After downloading this certificate, candidates have to fill all the details in the certificate, fix a recent passport-size photograph at the space provided and get it signed by their School/College Principal/Headmaster. Thereafter, the completed certificate should be scanned and uploaded in PDF format through the link provided under the JEE Main candidate login before January 7, 2026.

An important thing that the candidates should take care of is that the signature of the Principal/ Headmaster should be affixed in such a manner that it appears partly on the certificate and partly on the latest photograph.

Candidates also have to bring a copy of this certificate to their designated allotted exam centre on the day of the exam, where it will be required for physical identity verification.

The certificate that the candidates have to fill and upload appears like the one shown below:
