JEE Main 2026 registration started

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 application form. Candidates can now apply for the JEE Main 2026 session 1 and session 2 exams at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2026 registration last date is November 27, 2025.

Aspirants are advised to fill out the form carefully, upload all required documents, and pay the fee before the deadline. The JEE Main exam is a national-level test held for admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture programmes. Top 2,50,000 candidates of JEE Mains are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced exam.

How to Apply for JEE Mains 2026?

Eligible candidates can apply for the JEE Main exam by following the steps such as:

• Visit JEE Main’s official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in
• Click on the JEE Main 2026 Registration link
• A new login page will be displayed on the screen 
• Fill out the required details to register
• Login using the newly generated credentials and fill out the JEE Main 2026 application form
• Now, upload the documents as required 
• Make the payment of JEE Main fee
• Check all the details and click on submit
• Download the confirmation slip

JEE Main 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2026. Any applicant who does not fulfil the JEE Main eligibility criteria will not be offered admission despite their performance in the exam. The eligibility requirements are: 

• Students applying for the exam must be Indian citizens, Foreign Nationals, NRIs, PIOs (Persons of Indian Origin), and OCIs (Overseas Citizens of India).
• Candidates must have completed class 12th in 2024, 2025 or should be appearing in 2026.
• There is no JEE Mains age limit.
• No minimum marks required in Class 12 to appear in JEE Mains.
