JEE Main 2026 Result Likely Today; 13 Lakh Candidates to Get Their Scores Soon
The wait for over 13 lakh students may finally come to an end today as the NTA JEE Mains result 2026 is expected to be announced anytime soon.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to announce the JEE Mains 2026 result today, February 16, 2026. The JEE Main result link will be activated on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates have to use their application number and date of birth to download their JEE Main scorecards.
Over 13 lakh candidates who appeared for the engineering entrance exam are waiting for their scores. NTA was earlier scheduled to release the results on February 12; however, the same has been delayed to February 16. Before the result declaration, NTA is also expected to release the final answer key. If any question is found incorrect and is dropped, then the marks will be awarded to all students irrespective of whether the question is attempted or not.

As of now, NTA has not announced any official time for the declaration of the JEE Main 2026 result. The agency usually releases results late at night or in the evening hours. The result will be available online only. The steps to check the results are:
- Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Click on the ‘JEE Main 2026 Result’ link
- Enter application number, password and CAPTCHA
- Submit and download the scorecard
- Take a printout for future use

The JEE Main 2026 scorecard will include:
- Candidate’s name and roll number
- NTA score (percentile) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
- Total percentile score
The percentile score will be calculated after normalisation, as the exam was conducted in multiple shifts. Moreover, candidates will find the All India Ranks and JEE Main cutoff along with the results for the April attempt. This is because NTA considers the best of both attempts for rank allotment.
