The JEE Main 2026 result has been declared at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The scorecards of the candidates are available under the respective logins that they can download using their JEE Mains application number and password. NTA has also released a detailed press note that includes toppers of the 2026 January session exam.

The JEE Main result 2026 is out for the session 1 exam today. This year, JEE Main has witnessed the highest number of candidates appearing for the exam. Check a detailed statistical report on the JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam and result below.

The National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main 2026 session 1 result. This year, NTA has recorded the highest number of candidate participation. Out of the total 13,55,293 registered candidates for paper 1 (BE/BTech), 13,04, 653 have appeared. This accounts for 96.26% attendance rate which is a new high in JEE Mains.

The JEE Main 2026 result has been declared at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The scorecards of the candidates are available under the respective logins that they can download using their JEE Mains application number and password.

NTA has also released a detailed press note that includes toppers of the 2026 January session exam. The press note also provides a statistical insight into the gender wise and category-wise number of candidates registering for the exam.

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result: Number of Candidates Registered vs Appeared

In JEE Main 2026 session 1, a total of 13,55,293 candidates have registered and 13,04,653 appeared. On the other hand, 8,87,476 male candidates registered for the exam and 8,55,085 took the test. This is the highest number of candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 exam in history.

Out of the total 13, 04, 653 candidates who took the exam, 4,52,825 were from general category,1,60,958 from EWS, 1,29,902 from SC and 43,632 from ST.  From OBC-NCL 5,17,336candidates toll the exam.

This year, the total number of languages in which the exam was held is 13. These languages include Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The paper 1 exam was held across 10 shifts over 5 days in January 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28. Paper 2 exam was held on January 29.
