JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Exam: National Testing Agency conducted JEE Main session 1 day 1 exam smoothly on January 21 at all designated centres in two shifts. According to tweet of NTA on X platform, over 2.6 lakh candidates appeared for JEE Main Jan 21 day 1 exam, registering overall attendance of approximately 96%. 

NTA reported a high attendance rate across both shifts, underlining candidates’ preparedness in the examination system. Also, Aadhaar-based verification ensured secure, transparent, and fair identification of candidates at JEE Main 2026 exam centres. Special arrangements were made for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates.
