JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration Ends Soon; Apply Now to Avoid Late Rush
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is accepting the JEE Mains April session application form 2026 till February 25. The candidates who want to improve their first attempt score or were not able to appear in session 1 can apply for the April exams to be held between April 2 and 9. It is highly recommended to apply well before the deadline, as at the last minute, the website might face errors due to rush.
The JEE Main 2026 session 2 application form is available till February 25. The online application form is available at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates applying for the first time must register, complete the online form, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee. On the other hand, the students who have appeared for the exam in session 1 and want to apply for session 2 do not have to register from the start. They have to login with their session 1 application number and password, select the paper & exam centre for session 2 and pay the application fee.
The candidates have to complete the JEE Mains 2026 session 2 registration process by 9 pm and the application fee transaction by 11:50 pm on February 25.

Apart from the exam dates and the registration dates of JEE Mains session 2, NTA has not announced other dates. The dates of advance intimation of examination city, downloading of admit cards, and declaration of results will be displayed on the JEE Main portal at the appropriate time.

The schedule for JoSAA 2026 will be announced after the result of JEE Main 2026 session 2.
If candidates are facing issue in live photo capture, it can be due to mismatch from photo uploaded in Aadhar. For this, they need to visit the Aadhar update centre and get their current photo updated in the Aadhaar database.
The issue can also be due to any servor error/slow internet connectivity for which candidates can try uploading it after some time. Also, there can be a case of laptop/computer not supporting the webcame, for this, candidates can upload the photo using QR code provided in the application process.
Candidates can pay JEE Main application fees using any one of the following method
- Credit/debit card of any nationalised bank
- Internet banking
- UPI
- Paytm
Before paying the application fee, candidates should check whether there is requisite balance in the Bank Account / Wallet/Debit/credit card. In case any candidate faces difficulty in the payment of application fees, they can contact NTA helpline number.
Existing candidates, i.e., candidates registered and applied for Session 1 of JEE Main 2026, and who wish to apply for JEE (Main) Session 2, are also allowed to opt for the following:

- Medium of Question Paper
