JEE Mains Admit Card 2026: National Testing Agency will soon release session I JEE Main hall ticket for registered candidates. They must note that NTA has already generated JEE Main admit card 2026 login link. However, it is inactive as of now. Hence, it is expected that JEE Main 2026 hall ticket can be released anytime soon now. Once out, they can get JEE Main hall ticket download link from official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

Candidates need to use their application number and password to download JEE Mains 2026 hall ticket online. Also, NTA does not release admit card of JEE Mains exam all at once. Going as per past trends, JEE Main 2026 admit card will be released separately for different exam dates.

JEE Main Admit Card 2026 to be Released in Batches 

Sometimes, candidates see the admit card portal login link live before their JEE Main hall tickets are generated. This happens because NTA releases JEE Main 2026 admit cards in batches based on exam dates or shifts. If candidate’s exam is later, their hall ticket might not show immediately, even after JEE Main login link goes live.

In such cases, they may see a message like “Admit card not yet allotted”, this doesn’t mean error, it just means that JEE Main 2026 admit card link is not active yet. For exams on January 21, 22 and 23, JEE Main hall ticket may be released around January 17 or 18. Whereas, for exams on January 24, 28 and 29, admit card can be expected on January 19 or 20.

JEE Main Hall Ticket 2026 Link Generated? 

On NTA official website, JEE Main admit card link has been generated. However, on entering login details, it’s showing captcha error. NTA has done this at time of JEE Mains 2026 advanced city slip release time as well. The JEE link was generated on January 6, but city slips were released on January 8. This time too, NTA has generated JEE Main admit card link, but it is expected that it will be activated later on official website jeemain.nta.nic.in by January 17 or 18, 2026. 

What to do After JEE Main Admit Card 2026 Session I is Released? 

After release of JEE Main hall ticket, candidates must download it by going through steps provided below 

• Go to official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
• On homepage, click on “JEE Main 2026 Admit Card” link 
• Login page will appear
• Enter application number and password
• Submit it, JEE Main hall ticket will be displayed 
• Download and get printouts of it

After downloading admit card of JEE Main, candidates must check all details mentioned on it carefully: name, photo, signature, father’s name, roll number, exam centre, date and shift, and reporting time. Also, get it printed. 

JEE Main Hall Ticket 2026 Colour vs. Black & White Print, Which print is acceptable?

NTA has not mentioned anything regarding taking a print in colour or black & white of JEE Main 2026 admit card. However, candidates are advised that whether it is coloured or black & white, the photograph and details mentioned on JEE Main hall ticket must be clearly visible.  

Candidates must note that colour print is highly recommended, as it makes their photo and signature clearer, helpful during verification. Black & white print is usually accepted too, as long as everything is legible.

What to Do If JEE Main 2026 Admit Card has an Error? 

There are chances that there might be error in JEE Main hall ticket. In that case, candidates must not edit JEE Main 2026 admit card themselves. Any modification can cancel their candidature. They must contact NTA Helpdesk immediately:

Candidates need to provided application number and a screenshot of the wrong detail. Further, they need to follow instructions from NTA.
