JEE Main Admit Card 2026 LIVE Updates: NTA is expected to release the JEE Mains hall ticket for session 1 exams soon. Note that the admit card of the JEE Mains exam will not be out for all exam dates at once. The admit card will be out in batches.
For exams on January 21, 22 and 23, the JEE Main 2026 admit card may be released around January 17 or 18. Meanwhile, for the exams on January 24, 28 and 29, the admit card can be expected on January 19 or 20.
Although NTA has generated the JEE Main admit card 2026 login link, the login is currently inactive. On entering the login credentials, there is a captcha error.
This is a common NTA pattern which has also been observed at the time of JEE Mains 2026 session 1 advanced city slip release. The link was generated on January 6, but the city slips were issued on January 8. Similarly, NTA has generated the JEE Main 2026 admit card link, but it is expected that the link will be hosted on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in in the coming few days.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has generated the JEE Main 2026 admit card login link, but candidates are currently unable to download their hall tickets.
On entering the application number and date of birth, students are facing a CAPTCHA error.
This usually happens when the hosting of the admit cards has not started on the website. Students are advised not to panic, as this is a common NTA process before the official release.

Reason why NTA has generated the link, but has not officially hosted it at jeemain.nta.nic.in
There can be several reasons why NTA releases the login link, but it shows CAPTCHA errors. But to avoid any issues when the admit card is live, NTA first creates and activates the login framework (application number, DOB, CAPTCHA, submit button). This is done to:
- Test whether the system is working properly.
- Ensure data mapping (candidate details, exam city, shift, centre) is correct.
- Prepare servers to handle heavy traffic.
At this stage, the PDF admit card is not yet mapped to candidate profiles, so nothing loads after CAPTCHA verification.
Therefore, do not panic. Once the login is ready to host the admit card, the same will be notified to the candidates via public notices on jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has notified that the exam for all students of West Bengal who have been allotted the January 23 schedule will be rescheduled for another date. This decision has been taken in view of the celebration of Saraswati Puja on January 23, 2026.
The National Testing Agency will release new dates for the candidates of West Bengal state who have been allotted the exam date of January 23 from the already scheduled exam dates. The scheduled dates of the JEE Main 2026 exam are January 21, 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29.
