JEE Mains 2026 Registration Updates: Application likely to start before Oct 18
As per NTA sources, JEE Main 2026 session 1 registration will start anytime this week. The tentative JEE Mains form date is between October 14 to 18, 2025. The link to fill the form will be available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
NTA JEE Mains 2026 registration updates: As per latest available information, application form will be released between October 14 to 18. The link to apply for JEE Main 2026 will be available at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Once the application is released, candidates can apply from the website. JEE Main 2026 exam date will also be announced along with the release of the application form.
Candidates intereste in applying for the exam must ensure that their Aadhaar is updated with correct details. Candidates must get it updated before the JEE Main 2026 registration starts. Candidates from EWS, OBC-NCL and PwD/PwBD category also need to check their certificates and ensure it is correct and as per the prescribed format.
Documents Required to Apply for JEE Main
Candidates need to have the following documents ready with them to fill the form
- Aadhaar card
- Class 10 marksheet
- Scanned image of passport size photo and signature in the recommended size and dimension
- EWS, OBC-NCL, PwD/PwBD candidates need to have their certificates while filling form
- Credit/debit card or internet banking, UPI details for fee payment

Candidates can face difficulty in payment of application fees due to various reasons like
- Slower internet connection while paying fees

Candidates can also try logging out the application form process once and then try paying application fee again after logging in.
