The official JEE Mains 2026 session 1 result date is 'By February 16'. NTA has not announced any specific time for the result announcement. What's the Latest Update?
The cnr.nic.in result 2026 link (https://cnr.nic.in/Results26/JEEMAIN2026S1P1/Login), which is assumed to be a testing link, hosted on the examination services, 'nic.in' server, is now showing an error message. The link was displaying a proper login page to 'View results for JEE Mains 2026 January session exam for Paper 1'. The link was only generated and never activated. Upon entering the valid login credentials, it showed a captcha error message.
With this link now showing an error message, it is expected that NTA might release the JEE Mains result 2026 soon. Once released, candidates who appeared in the session 1 exam will be able to download their JEE Main 2026 scorecards using their application number, password and captcha. Along with the results, the authority will release the JEE Mains final answer key 2026. The results will be computed on the basis of the final answer key.

Why is the NTA JEE Main 2026 Result Delayed?
Earlier, the JEE Mains result date was February 12; however, on February 11 late at night, NTA took to its 'X' account (formerly Twitter) to announce the revised date. NTA has not announced any particular reason for the delay. However, there are speculations that the JEE Mains result has been delayed due to a combination of issues such as answer key challenges, disputed Physics questions, normalisation errors, and others.
