Hundreds of thousands of candidates who applied for the JEE Mains session 2 are eagerly waiting for their admit cards to be issued. Although many anticipated that the admit cards would be released on March 28, as per past trends, they were not released on the expected date.

Shiksha.com asked the student community what they think about the admit card release date. And as of now, 69% of the students feel that the admit card will be out today, while 20% have said it will be out tomorrow. On the other hand, 11% say they are not sure about the release date.

Students are now wondering if the issuance of the hall ticket will be delayed due to the rescheduling of the April 5 exam because of a conflict with Easter.

Some reports also suggest that the NTA JEE admit card for the session 2 exam will be out tomorrow, March 30 or even March 31.

In this uncertain situation, candidaes are being requested not to worry about the admit card release and focus on their revision. Students should track only the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in for updates. As soon as the admit card is out, the link to download it will be hosted on the official site.

The JEE Mains session 2 exam will take place at various test centres from April 2nd to April 8th, 2026. According to the schedule, Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) will be held on April 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th. Additionally, Paper 2A (B.Arch), Paper 2B (B.Planning), and the combined Paper 2A & 2B (B.Arch & B.Planning) will be conducted on April 7th, 2026.
