JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment Result 2025 Tomorrow at josaa.nic.in; What Comes Next?
The Joint seat allocation authority will release the JoSAA 2025 round 2 allotment result tomorrow, June 25 at josaa.nic.in. The candidates who have applied for upgradation (float/slide) in round 1 and the candidates who have not been allotted any seat in round 1 will be able to check their allotment result tomorrow in round 2. The candidates will have to login with their JEE Main 2025 application number and password to check their JoSAA 2025 round 2 allotment result.
After JoSAA 2025 Round 2 Allotment
If a seat is allotted in the JoSAA 2025 round 2, then candidates have to complete seat confirmation and online reporting. Seat confirmation includes choosing freeze, float or slide. Online reporting means candidates have to complete the seat allotment fee payment, document upload and response by the candidate to queries (if required). The round 2 seat confirmation and online reporting can be done from June 25 to June 29. However, candidates will be able to respond to queries, if any, until July 1.
- Freeze means - satisfied with the allotted seat, and will confirm the seat
- Float means - accepts the allotted seat; however, if admission to an academic program of higher preference in any Institute is offered in the coming rounds of seat allocation, the candidate will accept it. Otherwise, the candidate will continue with the currently accepted seat.
- Slide means - accepts the offered seat; However, if admission to an academic program of higher preference is offered within the same Institute in subsequent rounds of seat allocation, the candidate will accept it. Otherwise, the candidate will continue with the currently accepted seat.
Note that a seat will be confirmed only after payment of the seat allocation fee (SAF).

Also, after round 2 of JoSAA 2025 seat allotment, the opening and closing ranks will be released for all participating colleges and courses. Candidates can check the JoSAA cutoff, which is the opening and closing ranks, on the official website of JoSAA. Candidates can check opening and closing ranks for all institutes and branches for all quotas, categories, gender and seat type.
The candidates who wish to withdraw from the seat allocation process, can apply for the same between June 26 to June 30. The JoSAA 2025 round 3 seat allotment result will be out on July 3.
