KCET 2026 Registration Extended to Feb 27; Over 3.2 Lakh Applicants Signed Up for Karnataka CET
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) extended KCET 2026 deadline to Feb 27, 2026. The last date to pay the KCET 2026 application fee is March 3. As of writing this news, over 3.2 lakh students have registered so far. The exam schedule remains unchanged. This is the final chance for candidates to apply for UGCET 2026.
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has once again extended the KCET 2026 registration deadline. As per the latest extension, the last date to register for KCET 2026 is February 27, 2026, 11:59 pm while the last date to pay the KCET application fee is March 3, 26 till 5: 30 PM. KEA has granted this latest extension after receiving multiple requests from students who required more time to finish the registration process. As of February 21, close to 3.15 lakh students have registered for KCET 2026 using Aadhaar numbers.

The exam date for KCET 2026 is the same and the exam will be conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode for subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Math, Biology) on April 23 and 24, 2026, while the Kannada Language Test will be conducted on April 22, 2026. The KCET admit card is expected to be released from April 10, 2026 onwards.
