Following the release of the KCET 2026 Round 2 mock seat allotment results on its official website on August 17, 2026, KCET opened the option modification window until August 20, 2026, up to 9:00 AM. Students have a final opportunity to add, delete, or rearrange their college preferences.

Guidelines for Candidates

The mock allotment is indicative and executed to help students understand their chances based on merit and previous choice trends. Candidates must not visit or attempt to report to provisionally displayed colleges, as this trial status does not guarantee final admission.ย 

All newly entered or modified choices must be saved before 9 AM deadline on August 20, after which preferences will be locked for processing final Round 2 data. Along with mock results, KEA will publish course-wise and college-wise mock cut-off ranks. Students are advised to analyze these trends before altering preference hierarchy.

How to Check Results and Modify Choices?

  1. Open Karnataka Examinations Authority Website.

  2. Navigate to "UGCET 2026 - 2nd Round Mock Seat Allotment Result" tab.

  3. Fill in CET Number and date of birth to check mock status.

  4. Access option entry portal to make final adjustments to college choices before portal closes.
