The KEAM 2026 engineering rank list has been officially postponed to June 26, 2026. Initially expected on June 20 and rescheduled for today, June 22, the release was deferred at the last minute by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala.

KEAM 2026 rank lists will be prepared based on the score obtained in the Kerala Pharmacy Entrance Examination. The maximum score will be 300. The BPharm rank list is also expected to be released with the engineering rank list on June 26.

The KEAM 2026 rank list will now be releasing on June 26.

Following the release of the CBSE Class 12 revaluation results on June 21, many students and parents are anxious about having no option to submit updated marks online. The plus two marks submission window by CEE was closed on June 18. Higher Education Minister Roji M. John had stated that the state wanted to ensure that CBSE students were not disadvantaged in the preparation of the rank list due to pending revaluation results.

This CEE has been instructed to extend the plus two marks submission window and defer the relesae of ranks list to June 26.

Based on past trends,

• 500+ (out of 600) typically secures a top 5,000 rank, while top-tier colleges often require a rank under 2,000
• 550+ Marks: Top 500 rank (Top institutions)
• 500 - 549 Marks: 500 - 2,000 rank
• 450 - 499 Marks: 2,000 - 6,000 rank
• 370 - 390 Marks: 6,000 - 10,000 rank

The publication of the KEAM 2026 Engineering Rank List has reportedly been postponed to June 26. The delay is related to giving a fair chance to CBSE students to enter their revised class 12 marks. The CBSE revaluation was affected due to the OSM scam.  CEE has decided to extend the class 12 marks submission window for candidates to enter their revised class 12 marks after the revaluation results were announced on June 21.

Following the order from Higher Education Minister Roji M John, CEE has decided to extend the plus two marks submission window and defer the release of KEAM 2026 ranks to June 26.

Since the CBSE students got their class 12 revaluation on Sunday, June 21, more time will be provided to such candidates to upload their revised marks. Due to this, the KEAM rank list that takes into account a 50:50 weightage of class 12 and KEAM 2026 scores will be out on June 26.

The KEAM 2026 Rank List will be officially released today, June 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM. According to official announcements, the results and engineering/pharmacy merit ranks will be formally declared by Minister Roji M. John at a press conference at the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club.

After the rank lists and the official list of toppers are active on the portal, CEE Kerala will release the schedule for the centralised allotment process (counselling).

After the KEAM rank list is released, CEE will announce the CAP (KEAM counselling) details.

As per reports, this year, about 1 lakh students appeared for the KEAM exam. There has been a huge increase in the number of candidates who appeared for the exam compared to the previous year (86,401 in 2025). Therefore, the competition will be much higher this time. The KEAM Engineering rank list is prepared by adding the normalised marks of the entrance exam (out of 300 marks) and the PCM marks of the Plus Two board exam (out of 300 marks), giving a total of 600 marks.

Equal weightage of 50:50 shall be given to the normalised score obtained in KEAM 2026 result and the grade/marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardisation procedure. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered.

The KEAM rank list will be out today at 3 PM.

A 320 combined score (out of 600) in KEAM is considered an average to moderate score. It will generally place you in a rank range between 20,000 and 50,000, making it suitable for getting into reputable private engineering colleges or specific branches in semi-government institutions. 

The KEAM Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) is a complete online Single Window System (SWS) to give allotments to the various courses and colleges under the Engineering / Architecture / Pharmacy / Medical streams in the state, based on the options submitted by the candidates. The KEAM CAP is strictly based on the options exercised, the rank obtained and the applicable reservations of the candidate.

To prepare the KEAM rank list for engineering admission, CEE will use 50% of each score - class 12 and KEAM entrance exam:

• 50%: Your normalised KEAM 2026 exam score.
• 50%: Your standardised Class 12 marks in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry combined.

• In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered.
• In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered.
• In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered.

To prepare the KEAM rank list for engineering admission, CEE will use 50% of each score - class 12 and KEAM entrance exam:

KEAM 2026 options can be registered only through the website, cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates will have to register their options in a single stream or multiple streams (based on their eligibility) in the ‘Option Registration Page’ accessible through the KEAM 2026 candidate portal.

Since no fixed release time has been announced, checking the `KEAM 2026 portal periodically remains the safest approach.

Like previous years, KEAM engineering admissions are expected to involve multiple allotment rounds depending on seat availability.

Students should avoid rumours regarding delays or topper information and follow announcements issued through the official KEAM 2026 portal.

Students should save multiple copies of their KEAM rank card, as it may be required during counselling and admission formalities.

KEAM authorities have not announced a fixed time for the rank list publication.

CEE Kerala carried out verification of the submitted Plus Two marks before preparing the final KEAM rank list.

In case the KEAM rank list is delayed, candidates should continue monitoring the official website as the authority may publish the list anytime later.

Candidates who did not submit their Plus Two marks within the prescribed deadline will not be considered for the engineering KEAM 2026 rank list preparation process.

The official admission schedule indicated that the KEAM 2026 engineering rank list would be published on or before June 20 after verification of Plus Two marks.

As of now, CEE Kerala has neither announced the rank list nor issued a postponement notice. Candidates should keep checking the official portal for updates.
