As per previous years’ trends, MET application form 2027 can be released in the first week of October 2026. The official MET registration 2027 link will be activated online at manipal.edu.in. Candidates will have to complete the application process by providing all required details for MET 2027 exam. MAHE will announce MET 2027 registration dates on the official website.

To register, candidates will have to provide their basic details such as name, email address, mobile number, preferred course, campus and more. The login password will be sent to their registered email address.

What are the MET 2027 eligibility criteria?
Candidates can check the MET eligibility criteria below.
- Indian candidates are eligible for MET exam. However, applications from foreign nationals, candidates with NRI status, candidates sponsored by NRI relatives, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Person of Indian Origin (PIO) will also be accepted for reserved seats.
- There is no domicile eligibility.
- MET does not have any age limit. However, other criteria have to be met.
- Candidates should have passed 10+2th qualifying (or equivalent) exam with Physics, Chemistry and English as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/any technical subject as optional.
- A minimum of 50% marks should have been scored as an aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
- The technical vocational subject should be related to Chemical/Civil/Computer/Electrical/Mechanical streams.

With proper preparation strategy and dedication, students can crack MET with self study. Since MET and board exam syllabus are quite similar, candidates can prepare simulatenously for both exams.
As per MET exam pattern, total score is 240. However, for every wrong answer in MCQs, one mark will be deducted. There is no negative marking for NATs.
Among all MET sections, students often find Mathematics section to be the most difficult to prepared. Students should check and focus more on important topics and repeated questions to prepare for Mathematics.

The level of MET syllabus will be similar to the 12th standard qualifying exam syllabus. Since most of the topics will be the same as the ones the students studied for the board examination, they are advised to review the syllabus carefully and prepare for the exam.
