MP to provide campus placement training to engineering, polytechnic students

The technical education department of Madhya Pradesh will conduct training at different levels to strengthen the placement and skilling of students of engineering and polytechnic colleges of the state. 

The technical education department of Madhya Pradesh will train the engineering and polytechnic students of the state as per the requirement of the companies coming for the recruitment. 

Minister for Technical Education and Skill Development, Yashodhara Raje Scindia launched the Elevate-2022 programme in a webinar. During the webinar, Sanket Atal, Senior Vice President, Salesforce India, said the data of about 65,000 students has been uploaded by the company on the platform of Salesforce. He said they conducted Elevate-2022 programme to access direct and indirect jobs. 

Engg, polytechnic colleges asked to prepare training programmes 

The technical education department will conduct training at different levels to strengthen the placement and skilling of students of engineering and polytechnic colleges of the state. 

In the first year, communication skills will be instilled in the students. Quantitative aptitude in the second year and logic reasoning and digital fluency in the third year. 

In the final year, students will be trained in subjects such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, data analysis, cloud computing and digital marketing. 

All engineering and polytechnic colleges have been asked by the technical education department to prepare training programmes. The principals have been directed to review the performance of the students and prepare the calendar. Instructions have also been given to set up an additional slot of one hour in the timetable for the placement cell and a student placement company.
