NIT Calicut Admissions 2023: National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) is all set to conduct Institute-Level Spot Admission for seats vacant in M Tech/ M Plan/MSc programmes on August 25. Candidates seeking admission to various postgraduate programmes may apply. According to the official statement, interested candidates with a valid GATE/JAM scores in respective disciplines should report at the Bhaskara Hall in NIT Calicut at 8 am on Friday, August 25.

โ€œAdmissions to M. Tech./M. Plan. through Spot Admission at NIT Calicut will be as per the CCMT 2023 eligibility norms and the special eligibility conditions of NIT Calicut. Admissions to M. Sc. through Spot Admission at NIT Calicut will be as per the CCMN 2023 eligibility norms and the special eligibility conditions of NIT Calicut,โ€ the institute said in the admission PDF.

โ€œVacant seats of M. Tech/M. Plan programmes will be allotted to the eligible candidates based on GATE score (2021/2022/2023) only.  Vacant seats of M. Sc. programmes will be allotted to the eligible candidates based on JAM score (2023) only,โ€ it further added.

Admitted candidates have to start attending the regular classes from Monday 28 August 2023 onwards.

NITC has also scheduled Institute-Level Spot Admissions for M Tech/M Plan programmes (self-sponsored) on August 23 and 24.

The prospective candidates should appear for the selection process at respective departments or schools at 9 am on August 23. The admission process for the selected candidates will be conducted at 9 am the next day. For more details, candidates are advised to visit the NITC website.
