NIT Trichy's CEDI-aided startup operational in the state
The legal services startup was the business idea of a corporate lawyer J Reeganraj, a first-generation graduate and entrepreneur from Kumaramangalam village near Kumbakonam.
National Institute of Technology (NIT-T) Trichyโs Centre for Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation (CEDI) supported legal service provider startup has commenced its operation in Trichy. According to the official information, the startup will work on referring advocates to clients requiring specialised legal support and guides advocates to digitise their operations. the legal service startup that operates from KK Nagar would also offer various non-litigation services for the public and entrepreneurs.
The startup Nyayaag legal services is an incubation of CEDI, an independent company promoted by NIT-T.โWe are assisting the startup in technology development such as website and applications and the support would continue on request. For promising startup ideas received from students and aspiring entrepreneurs, we provide access to funding agencies,โ said G Krishnan, CEO of CEDI, NIT-T.

NIT-Trichy Internship Programme
NIT Trichy has commenced a 26-day skill development internship training programme for students of Government Polytechnic College at Papanasam in Thanjavur in its campus on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Under this internship programme, the Nation Technology Institute aims at imparting training on the basics of electrical machines, electronics, robotics and automation to the Polytechnic students. Talking to TOI, Sivakumaran, professor and coordinator of the internship programme, explained the details of the internship programme. Duraiselvam, dean (planning and development), spoke about skill development courses offered in various laboratories of NIT.
Talking about the programme set up at the institute, NIT-T director Aghila said that the internship has been envisaged to provide skill excellence for students, practising professionals and industries around its vicinity, she said.
