No takers for over 15,000 seats in Telangana engg colleges

The final phase engineering seat allotment for the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) 2022 has been released with 15,447 seats remaining vacant. Engineering classes for the first year first semester will begin on November 1 or 2.
As per a report published in Telangana Today, a total of 79,346 engineering seats were up for grabs in 177 engineering colleges and 63,899 were allotted. In the case of BPharmacy admissions for the MPC candidates, 1.05 per cent seats were allotted out of 3,409 available seats in 115 pharmacy colleges. Of the total 616 seats available in the PharmD course in 56 pharmacy colleges, 592 were vacant.
27 private colleges record 100% seat allotment
As many as 2,393 candidates did not get a seat as they exercised limited web options. One university college and 27 private colleges recorded 100 per cent seat allotment.
Those who have registered for the round can check their allotment status on tseamcet.nic.in. As per the counselling schedule, candidates who are allotted seats in the final round will have to pay the tuition fee and self report for admission through the website from October 26 to 28, 2022. If the candidate fails to self-report online or pay the tuition fee before the last date, the provisional allotted seat automatically stands cancelled.
