SRMJEEE 2026 Phase 3 Exam Begins Tomorrow; Know Remote Proctored Test Instructions
The SRMJEEE phase 3 exam 2026 will start tomorrow, July 4. Candidates appearing in the exam can check here important instrcution for the exam day. The exam will be held in one shift on each day. Candidates appearing in the exam must adhere to computer/laptop requirement and remote-proctored test guidelines.
The SRM Institute of Science and Technology will conduct the SRMJEEE phase 3 exam 2026 on July 4 and 5. The exam will be held in one shift on both days. It is a remote-proctored exam which candidates can take from their home.
Candidates appearing in the exam have to book their slots first, before they take test. The facility of slot booking is open until today. Candidates who are yet to book their exam slot must book it soon. No candidates will be allowed to appear in the exam without slot booking.
All registered candidates can take free mock test today to understand the basic exam structure like type and number of questions, marking scheme and difficulty level of paper. The mock tests can be practiced/solved online from SRMJEEE login portal.
The SRM Institute of Science and Technology has sent important instructions to all candidates in their registered email ID on how to solve mock paper and for the actual exam. All candidates must check the instructions before they appear in the exam.

SRMJEEE 2026 Remote Proctored Test Instructions
Important points to note for the exam are
- Candidates must ensure they have a high-speed internet connection without any interruption during the entire test duration.
- The laptop/desktop computer must be i3 or above with 4GB RAM
- The laptop/desktop must have a functional camera/webcam for remote monitoring
- Candidates must ensure the place they are taking the test is free from noise with sufficient lights
- Candidates must login to the test at least 30 minutes before the test start time to complete login and verification

SRMJEEE is held in online proctored mode. This means candidates can take the exams from their homes and they do not have to visit any exam center for taking the exam. Proctored exams are timed exams that you take while proctoring software monitors your computer's desktop, webcam video and audio. In Proctored Online Exam, you will be under constant observation during the entire duration of the test via artificial intelligence tools and live monitoring by the proctors. Any suspected activity will lead to the immediate termination of exam. The AI tools will be able to detect any movement of face or eyeballs and highlight the same automatically. Thus, the candidate will be under constant vigilance of proctor through live feed to deter any suspicious activity of the candidate.
The total marks in SRMJEEE is revised from 125 to 130 marks and mode of the exam is online remote proctored.
SRMJEEE is an annual entrance test conducted by SRMIST to shortlist candidates for various technical and non-technical courses for its participating campuses. As per exam pattern, the test is held for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates are awarded 1 mark for each correct answer. The question paper consist of 125 MCQs based on the syllabus of Class 11th and 12th for PCM/B and English & Aptitude.
The result result of exam will be announced around one week after the exam concludes. Candidates who qualify will be invited to take part in the admission process. The phase 3 is the last chance for candidates to get admission in SRM.
