The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) will release the funds after verifying the facts.
The students studying in secondary classes of government schools of Tamil Nadu will be eligible to get assistance. The amount will be directly deposited into the beneficiary's bank account. The students have been asked to approach the district administration with the documents.
"For better execution of the scheme and to ensure transparency in its implementation, an online portal will be launched by DoTE," stated the GO.
