TS EAMCET 2026 Calendar Out; Engineering Exams to Begin May 9

The TGCHE (Telangana Council of Higher Education) released the TG EAPCET 2026 (formerly TS EAMCET) engineering entrance exam date today. As per the short notice released by the exam body, the entrance exam will be held from May 9, 10 and 11, 2026. The test will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) in online Computer-Based mode. 

The notification also mentions that the TS EAMCET 2026 registration is expected to start soon. The notification detailing eligibility criteria, registration fees, and the official application window will be released in due course. About the TS EAMCET exam

The TG EAPCET (formerly TS EAMCET) is conducted every year to shortlist candidates for B.Tech courses across participating colleges. The entrance exam is conducted for Agriculture, and Pharmacy courses as well.

The entrance exam consists of 160 objective-type questions and there is no negative marking giving students ample opportunities to attempt the questions. The exam difficulty level is moderate level.
