VITEEE 2026 Fee Structure Explained: Vellore Institute of Technology has officially started the counselling process for VIT entrance exam 2026 admission. With phase I choice filling starting tomorrow, students must be aware of the VITEEE 2026 counselling fees, along with tuition fees aligned to it. Read below to know more.

Candidates who have qualified the VITEEE 2026 exam and now prepared to participate in the VIT counselling 2026 process must have an idea about the specific fee categories. To explain in short, during admission process, there are three different VIT fee types, which are as follows.

VITEEE 2026 Fees Structure: Group A and B Categories
The progammes offered at VIT are classified into Group A and B categories to differentiate fees and cutoffs. VITEEE 2026 Group “A” programmes are core branches with lower fees, which include traditional engineering branches. While Group “B” include high-demanding branches like CSE and CSE specialisations. Compared to both, Group B courses have high tuition fees. These groups are further split into five categories, where category 1 has lowest fees and 5 has the highest fees. As the rank goes up, the fees also increase.

Commonly asked questions
Dates for VITEEE seat allotment 2026 have been updated on the counselling portal. Candidates can login and check their scheduled counselling dates.
No, the students will not be guaranteed admissions if they meet the VITEEE cutoff. However, they will have higher chances of admission if the cutoff is met. Since other factors will also be considered for admission, the students can check the cutoff for their admission chances.
For VITEEE admissions, there is no specific reservation criteria. Students will be offered admission based on their rank, order of preferences, eligibility and seats.
VIT Group of Institutions have started the online counselling process. VIT 2026 phase I choice filling will start from May 12. Students with VITEEE ranks from 1 to 20000 must pay their fees by today (May 11). To pay, candidates have to login using their credentials and make payment.
