Will JEE Main 2026 Get Cancelled in Middle-East Amid Iran-US-Israel War; City Slip Expected to Provide Clarity
Recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) cancelled all board examinations in several Middle East countries amid the ongoing Iran-Israel-US war. This has also raised speculation about whether the upcoming JEE Mains session 2 exam will be held in the Middle East cities, like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah (UAE), Doha (Qatar), Muscat (Oman), and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). NTA will conduct the JEE Mains 2026 session 2 exam between April 2 and 9. Now, with the war tension rising day by day, and CBSE cancelling all the board exams in the Middle East, questions are arising about the JEE Main April session exam.
As per the official brochure of JEE Main 2026, NTA will also conduct the JEE Mains exam in cities in the Middle East like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah (UAE), Doha (Qatar), Muscat (Oman), and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

NTA to Allot Exam City and Date via JEE Main City Instimation Slip Soon
The clarity on the exam date and city will come after NTA releases the city intimation slip for session 2 exams. Via the city slip, NTA will allot the exam date and the exam city from where candidates have to appear for the exam.
NTA is also expected to release a separate notification regarding the JEE Mains exam date on jeemain.nta.nic.in. Clarity on the JEE Mains exam to be held in the Middle East countries will only come after any official notification from NTA.
NTA is expected to release the JEE Mains city intimation slip session 2 on March 20, tentatively. The candidates will be able to doenload the city slip from their respective logins using their application number and password.
