Oberoi Group has announced the recipients of its Dare to Dream and Be the Best scholarships, recognising individuals for their commitment to learning, leadership, and service in the hospitality industry.
The Oberoi Group has announced the recipients of its scholarships: Dare to Dream, Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi, and Be the Best Prithvi Raj Singh which celebrate the legacy of the Group’s visionary founders. These awards recognise exceptional professionals in the hospitality industry who exemplify dedication to learning, leadership, and service. Kritika Sharma, Executive Housekeeper at Taj Westend, Bangalore, has been awarded the Dare to Dream – Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi Scholarship, while Alisha Rampal, Director of Food & Beverage at Trident, Bandra Kurla, Mumbai, is the recipient of the Be the Best – Prithvi Raj Singh Scholarship.
Both scholarship recipients will embark on a transformative educational journey through enrolment in the Master of Hospitality program at EHL Lausanne, Switzerland. This two-year MBA blends virtual learning with an immersive three-week on-campus module in Lausanne. As part of the program, the scholars will also participate in an international study tour, gaining first-hand exposure to some of the world’s finest hotels and learning from global best practices in hospitality.
The scholarship selection process spanned five months and involved seven rigorous rounds of evaluation, including multiple interviews, psychometric assessments, and personality tests. The scholarships have been awarded to two exceptional individuals who embody perseverance, ambition, and a steadfast commitment to the hospitality industry.
