The I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC), the Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) of IIT Delhi, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Association of Entrepreneurship, Vietnam, to launch a pioneering cooperation program aimed at building a vibrant start-up ecosystem and nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders. This strategic collaboration is set to provide holistic support to emerging start-ups, drive innovation, facilitate technology transfer, and catalyze transformative growth. This visionary program will span five years (2025–2030).

The MoU includes a partnership to foster:

  • Innovative Training Programs: Jointly designed, forward-looking initiatives centred on innovation, business leadership, and building a world-class talent pool to support enterprises within the partner networks.
  • Expert Advisory Services: A robust collaboration offering strategic guidance to corporations, businesses, and local governments in setting up, managing, and optimizing innovation hubs and start-up ecosystems.
  • Strategic Policy Development: Collaborative development and implementation of forward-thinking policies aimed at accelerating the growth of start-ups, innovative enterprises, and emerging businesses, fostering an enabling environment for sustainable innovation.
  • Advisory Excellence: A shared commitment to providing continuous, high-level advisory support for the creation, expansion, and evolution of innovation and start-up centres across both India and Vietnam.

The event was attended by A. Dhanalakshmi, Joint Secy., DST, and the Ambassador of Vietnam to India, H.E. Mr Nguyen Thanh Hai and other senior counsellors from the Vietnam National Start-up Association, along with start-up and investor delegations from Vietnam.

Amb. H.E. Mr Nguyen Thanh Hai said, "Both our countries are uniquely positioned to lead in the digital era, driven by our vision and highly skilled workforce, as well as government policies that support entrepreneurship. This seminar serves as an excellent platform to explore how we can leverage our strengths, share knowledge, and build partnerships that will pave the way for success in the years to come."
