In a relief for students who missed their exams due to Operation Sindoor, the University of Delhi has announced a special re-examination opportunity for those who were unable to appear for papers held on May 13, 14, and 15, 2025.

The official notification was issued by the DU Controller of Examinations, Prof. Gurpreet Singh Tuteja, who stated that several undergraduate and postgraduate students were unable to reach Delhi and appear for their scheduled exams due to unavoidable circumstances linked to Operation Sindoor. In response, DU has made provisions for a special examination for these students.

Documentary Proof Required

Applicants must submit documentary evidence proving their inability to be present in Delhi on the examination dates due to the events surrounding Operation Sindoor. Students will not be given a chance to take the special exam provision without valid proof.

DU admission is open. Admission in Delhi University is based on CUET-UG & CUET-PG scores. Below are the upcoming events for DU admission:

  • University of Delhi (DU) has released the admission cutoff for 5-yr integrated BA LLB and BBA LLB courses through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) scores.
  • The CUET PG 2026 registration process for admission to PG courses is expected to begin in Jan 2026.
  • DU CSAS-PG 2025 Spot Round 3 allocations have been released for admission to various PG courses based on the CUET-PG 2025 scores, and the last date for fee payment is Aug 20, 2025.

No, aspirants wishing to apply for any of the MBA colleges under DU must pass CAT. DU colleges offering MBA provide maximum weightage to the CAT percentile. Check below the CAT weighate for admission at DU:

Apart from CAT, the performance of the candidates in Class 10, Class 12, graduation will also be considered for MBA admission.
