Honouring Achievements: MAHE Marks 32nd Convocation; 5767 Students Receive Degrees

The three-day MAHE convocation ceremony ended with Dr Rajiv Bahl, Secretary to Government of India, Department of Health Research & Director General, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) addressing over 4000 students and facilitating 5767 MAHE graduates.
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) organised its 32nd Convocation Ceremony at the premises. The three-day event honoured 5767 graduates and celebrated their achievements towards academic excellence. The event was attended by the faculty, distinguished guests and the guardians of the students who received degrees during the event.
The MAHE 32nd Convocation Ceremony was conducted for over three days i.e. from November 8 to 10, 2024. On the first day, Prof. Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman of UGC was the chief guest of the event followed by Dr. Indrajit Bhattacharya, Director General, National Institute of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (NIRA), New Delhi as a guest on day two and Dr Rajiv Bahl, Secretary to Government of India, Department of Health Research & Director General, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) as chief guest on day three.
Four Students Received Dr TMA Pai Gold Medal 2024
Arnav Agrawal pursuing B. Tech Computer Science and Engineering from MIT Manipal, Janet K Joy pursuing an MBBS from KMC Mangalore, Shetty Trasha pursuing B. Sc Perfusion Technology from MCHP, Manipal and Mrunmayee Rahul Nerlikar pursuing an MBBS from KMC Manipal, were awarded the prestigious Dr. TMA Pai Gold Medal in 2024 for their exceptional contributions and achievements in their respective fields.
Dr Rajiv Bahl addressed the students on the final day saying, “I would like to congratulate each student present here and their parents for standing with them throughout their journey. I would also like to advise the students here to take care of themselves first. Taking care of yourself is essential because, without self-care, you cannot make the impact you envision or take responsibility in any meaningful way. No matter the goals you are pursuing, the most important investment you can make is in yourself. Success, fulfilment, and peace begin with that commitment."
