Marwadi University Proposes an MOU with Gujarat Govet for ₹1,000 Cr Investment in Education Sector

Marwadi University is gearing up to host the prestigious Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferences (VGRC) following the success of Vibrant Gujarat. Conference organised by Government of Gujarat will be from 11th to 12th January 2026.

In line with vision of not only making Saurashtra but entire state of Gujarat globally renowned in field of education, university has sent a proposal worth 1, 000 crore for signing an MoU with Education Department, Government of Gujarat. This planned expenditure will help the creation of cutting, edge academic facilities in the new academic blocks with advanced laboratories, state, of, the, art sports facilities and next, generation hostels. Also, a dedicated 10, 000 sq.ft. centre for innovation and start ups will be set up along with a separate academic block for continuing education targeting working professionals and entrepreneurs.

VGRC, accentuating theme "Vocal for Local", will be held in the four zones of Gujarat North, Saurashtra, Kutch, South, and Central Gujarat. The event is also slated to have the global participation of countries like Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and the Netherlands. Besides that, the event will see the presence of renowned organizations like JETRO, ICBC, USISPF, World Bank and the Russian Federation.

For two days, the participants will take part in various activities like seminars, exhibitions, MoU signings, B2B, B2G meetings, buyer, seller meets and vendor development programs. Its schedule will delve into a variety of topics such as AI, Digital Marketing, Sustainability, Circular Economy, Auto & Precision Engineering, etc.
