MIT xPRO, Emeritus Launches PG Course in Data Science and AI; Know Details

MIT xPRO, the professional development arm of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), has collaborated with Emeritus to launch the Post Graduate Program in Data Science and AI. PG Course in Data Science and AI is ideal for people who are aiming to transition into or grow within the field of data science and advanced analytics. It is generally best for data and business analysts seeking to improve their abilities in more specialised data science roles.

Speaking on the program, Avnish Singhal, Executive Vice President, Head India & APAC, Emeritus, highlighted, “As industries evolve faster than ever, the gap between ambition and capability is widening. This program is designed to close that gap, giving professionals the mindset, tools, and confidence to lead the AI revolution. This program stands out because of its real-world focus; it’s not about learning AI in isolation, but also about using it for solving business problems that matter.”

Post Graduate Program in Data Science and AI Details

The program is set to begin on September 29, 2025, and will run for a duration of nine months in a blended format that includes both online and live online sessions. To be eligible, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher, along with a knowledge of maths and Excel, dataset usage, and some exposure to programming concepts. The total program fee is INR 2,60,000 + GST. 

Through this program, participants will be able to:

• Build models using Python and Google collaboration, gaining hands-on experience with key tools used by data science professionals.
• Translate technical results into business insights, bridging the gap between complex data outputs and executive-level decision-making
