NIELIT Practical Exams for July 2025 O/A/B/C‑Level Now To Be Held on August 19

NIELIT July 2025 O/A/B/C-level practical exam will now start on August 19, 2025. The exam was earlier scheduled for August 9, 2025. All candidates will have to be present at the exam centre with their NIELIT 2025 admit card and valid identity proof. Read to know more about the NIELIT 2025 O/A/B/C-level practical exam.

The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) has issued a public notice regarding a change in schedule for the O‑Level, A‑Level, B‑Level and C‑Level (IT) practical examinations for the July 2025 cycle. The practical exams originally set to begin on 9 August 2025 have been postponed. The revised start date is now 19 August 2025. 

Who Is Affected

• Excludes DGR candidates: This update applies specifically to general candidates and institutes, not to those under the Director General of Resettlement (DGR) scheme.

What Remains Unchanged

Theory exams for the July 2025 session have already been conducted:

• O‑Level theory: from 12 to 18 July 2025
• A/B/C‑Level theory: from 12 to 16 July 2025

NIELIT Admit Cards for O/A/B/C practicals will be available online on the NIELIT Student Portal. We recommend that the candidates keep a track of the admit card availability on the portal. After the admit card is made available, candidates can download their cards and follow the instructions carefully.

Key Instructions & Tips

• Candidates and institutes must download their updated admit cards from the Student Portal and note the revised reporting details.
• NIELIT will not entertain any requests for a change of exam centre or rescheduling.
• Carry your printed admit card along with a valid photo ID (e.g. Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport) on the day of the practicals.
