Aspirants must lock their preferences before the Friday evening deadline to ensure eligibility for the first seat allotment list coming early next week.
Online Counselling Registration and Choice Filling to End Tomorrow
The NIMCET counselling for 2026 will end on July 3, 2026. Candidates who qualified in the NIMCET exam but haven’t registered for the counselling yet have time till tomorrow to fill the e-counselling pay fees, and lock their college choices online.
To register, they must visit the official website - nimcet.admissions.nic.in. The exam body will release the first round allotment of NIMCET 2026 on July 6, 2026. While the first online reporting will run from Tuesday, July 7, 2026 Friday, to July 10 at 5 PM for fee verification.

Following regular counselling, a Special Round for leftover or newly vacated seats will also open by NIT Trichy on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 10 AM to July 24, 2026, 5 PM, Friday. The special round allotment list will be published on July 25, 2026 Saturday at 6 PM. Final offline reporting at individual campuses will start from July 27, 2026 onwards, based on specific college schedules.
