Following is the eligibility criteria for the AIBE XX (20) 2025 exam as issued by the Bar Council of India,

• Candidate should have passed 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB 
• Final year law students can apply, but they should not have any backlogs 
• Candidates whose results are not announced, can also apply
• Candidates without an enrolment certificate are also eligible to apply
• There is no age limit to appear in AIBE Exam

The Bar Council of India tests the following skills in the candidates through the AIBE exam,

• Understanding and basic knowledge of the law

Yes, Bar Council of India allows candidates who already registered for the exam. The last date for fee payment is 01-Nov-2025, 11:59 PM.

The candidates can edit only a few details in their AIBE XX (20) application form. All the details cannot be allowed during this process.  

The BCI will close the window the application corrections today. The candidates who registered for the AIBE XX exam can only edit the details in their forms. 

No, books will not be allowed to refer during the AIBE 2025 Exam. The AIBE is no longer an open-book exam. However, bare acts are allowed inside the exam hall that too without any notes.

The candidates can make the payment for the AIBE XX (20) application in online mode through net banking, debit card, or credit card.

BCI allows the minor corrections during the AIBE 20 correction window. For AIBE XX, the correction period is open until 31-Oct-2025 for the candidates who have made the payment. However, the fields that cannot be edited are,

5. Option related to enrollment certificate/final semester status.

No the AIBE 20 (XX) exam pattern is similar as it was for the previous session. There is no change in the exam pattern.

The Bar Council of India has concluded the registration for the AIBE exam on 31-Oct-2025. The candidates can now edit their forms and make the fee payment until 1-Nov-2025. 

The syllabus of AIBE 20 exam did not face any new changes. The Syllabus includes 19 law subjects. Candidates can expect 10 questions from Constitutional Law, 8 questions from IPC, 10 questions from Criminal Procedure Code CrPC, etc.

The candidates will have to keep their AIBE login details safe for future references. These credentials will be required to access the hall ticket and later to download the answer key. 

The candidates who are looking to sit for the AIBE exam must adhere to the exam day guidelines as will be notified through the AIBE 20 admit card.

The application fee for AIBE 20 is as follows:

• General/OBC/Gen-PWD/OBC-PWD: INR 3,500 (excluding GST and other charges)
• SC/ST/SC-PWD/ST-PWD: INR 2,500 (excluding GST and other charges)

The difficulty level of the AIBE can be known through the previous year exam question papers. The candidates who participated in the exam in previous sessions, ranked it on moderate level. To score well, candidates are required to revise whatever they have studied during the graduation days. Also read the landmark judgements for better scores.

Follow the steps given below to apply for the AIBE 20,

• Go to the official AIBE website

• On the registration page enter details as asked

• Enter the OTP and now fill the application form by entering the personal and qualifying exam details
• Upload the latest photograph and signature in jpg/ jpeg format
• Make the AIBE Application Fee payment
• Submit the form 

The Bar Council of India will close the AIBE 20 application window today. Candidates registered for the exam will be able to pay the application fee on or before 01-Nov-2025.

The BCI has not yet confirmed about the second extension of the AIBE exam application window. However, as per the notification, today is the last date to apply for the exam.

The BCI has notified that candidates who have made the final payment of AIBE 20 application can correct the details in their form. However, only a few mistakes will be allowed to be edited.

NLU Students’ Association has requested the BCI to revise the AIBE 2025 Eligibility for Final-Year Law Students due to different academic calendars in universities.

• Enter your registered email or mobile number.
• You will receive a reset link or OTP to create a new password. 

• Final-year students must submit self-attested scanned copies marksheets (not mobile photos).
• Law graduates awaiting degrees must upload all semester marksheets.
• Ensure your college/institution is BCI-approved.

Guidelines for Candidates pursuing LL.B are,

• 3-year course: Upload marksheets from 1st semester/1st year to 5th semester/2nd year.
• 5-year integrated course: Upload marksheets from 1st semester/1st year to 9th semester/4th year. 

Following are the instructions for Candidates who have completed LLB course,

• Upload all semester/year marksheets (Semester/year 1 to Final).
• Only .JPG, .JPEG, or .PDF formats are accepted.
• Each file must be under 600 KB. 

Yes, candidates who have successfully registered and made the payment can edit their forms, if any error is found. The last date for this facility is 01-Nov-2025.

The Bar Council of India will release a notification for candidates regarding opening of the application correction window. However, the last date of correction for application correction, as per the official notification is 01-Nov-2025.

The candidates who register for the exam will be able to correct any errors found in the application form until 01-Nov-2025, as per the latest notification. Th dates were revised due to requests made by the candidates.
