The NLU Delhi will commence the AILET 2026 application process on its official website as per the schedule mentioned here. Candidates who are looking forward to appear in AILET 2026 must check the eligibility criteria for BA LLB, LLM, and PhD courses, respectively. Read below the eligibility criteria and important dates.

The NLU Delhi will conduct the AILET exam on December 14, 2025. The AILET 2026 Application Process will start from August 07, 2025. Candidates aspiring to sit for the AILET exam must ensure their eligibility as they will have to provide the supporting documents during the counselling process.

The last date to fill AILET Application Form 2026 is November 10, 2025. Candidates must fill out the AILET 2026 Application Form carefully. 

 AILET 2026 Eligibility: Age Limit 

NLU Delhi has not set any age limit to appear in the AILET Exam. Candidates of any age can appear for AILET UG and AILET PG exam if they fulfill the AILET Eligibility Criteria. 

Exam Educational Qualification

Minimum Marks

AILET UG Eligibility (For 5-Year Integrated Law Courses) 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board

General/OBC/PwD/NRI: 45%

SC/ST: 40%

AILET PG Eligibility (For LLM) LL.B. or equivalent (3-year/5-year Law degree)

General/OBC/PwD/NRI: 50%

SC/ST: 45%

AILET 2026 Eligibility: Key Points

Candidates applying for AILET UG or AILET PG courses must fulfill the common eligibility conditions for the AILET exam as under: 

  • Candidates applying under a reserved category should have a certificate issued by the competent authority stating the same. 
  • Candidates belong to PwD category must provide a medical certificate issued by a medical authority stating 40 per cent or more disability.

Q:   How many attempts are allowed for AILET?
A:
Candidates can attempt AILET any number of times, in fact unlimited. As there is no age limit restrictions as per the AILET eligibility criteria, and no limits on attempts. NLU Delhi never put any limit on AILET attempts, and candidates can appear for the entrance exam even if they want to gain exam taking experience.
Q:   How many city preferences can a candidate submit while selecting AILET center?
A:

Candidates can submit maximum 3 preferences for AILET centre. Choosing preference for exam centre is mandatory to submit AILET application. Candidates will get to know about allotment of exact centre once the admit card is released. The NLU Delhi releases admit card online comprising crucial details about exam including name and address of AILET centre. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website after its release. To download AILET admit card, candidates need application ID, password, and Exam Unique Code (EUC).
