The National Law University Delhi was expected to close the AILET 2026 application window on 10-Nov-2025, as per the official notification. However, the examination cell has not released any new update regarding the application closure. Candidates aspiring to sit for the exam can still apply for the course at, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
The candidates who wish to sit for the AILET 2026 still have the chance to apply for the entrance exam. The AILET exam registration window is active. However, the NLU Delhi has not released the official notification for application closure or AILET 2026 application extension. The applicants who already registered for the exam but could not pay the fee can also complete their applications.
The AILET exam is conducted for admission to the BA LLB and LLM courses at the NLU Delhi. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 14-Dec-2025. How to Apply for AILET 2026?
Refer to the process given below to register for the exam,
- Visit, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
- Click on the tab 'Register as a New User'.
- On the new webpage, enter the information asked and click on Register.
- The username and password will be sent to your Email ID.
- Login using the credentials and select the course you wish to apply.
- Fill the application form with personal and qualifying exam details.
- Select the test city preferences and upload the scanned signature and photograph
- AILET 2026 registration fee is INR 3000 (General/ Open category) and INR 1000 (PwD/ SC/ ST category).
AILET 2026 registration started from August 07 2025 on the official AILET portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The exam date for All India Law Entrance Test is December 14, 2025. The AILET 2026 application form will be released for admission to BA LLB, LLM and PhD in Law courses.
No. One cant change the AILET Exam centre once the application form is submitted online. Candidates have to choose options of exam centre while applying for the exam. The exam centre option is filled during the final registration for AILET. Candidates can declare maximum 3 options for exam centre. AILET will let candidates know about name and address of exam centre through the admit card. The admit card for AILET has to be carried to the exam centre else candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
