CLAT 2026 exam held on December 7 is in the limelight for an alleged paper leak. A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking CLAT 2026 re-exam, if the allegations are found to be true.
CLAT 2026 Paper Leak? A plea has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking a time-bound probe into the alleged leak of the Common Law Admission Test question paper 2026 and its solution ahead of the exam. The CLAT 2026 exam, held on December 7 is under the spotlight for an alleged CLAT 2026 paper leak allegation where several CLAT 2026 aspirants seek Supreme Court’s intervention. The petitioners also seek a CLAT 2026 re-exam if the allegations are found to be true.
As per the media reports, the petition [Lalit Pratap Singh & Ors v. Consortium of National Law Universities] has been filed in the Supreme Court of India. The CLAT aspirants from the Scheduled Caste, Other Backwards Class and Economically Weaker Sections categories have requested the Apex Court for a probe into the matter.
The petitioners claim that videos and images of CLAT 2026 question paper and its solution circulated on WhatsApp, Telegram and other digital platforms before the exam. The plea says that thousands of genuine candidates have been unfairly disadvantaged.
The petitioners further claim that the CLAT 2026 question paper leak has seriously affected the fairness of the exam and the equal opportunity for students. They say that since CLAT 2026 counselling and seat allotment will start on January 7, the current results will permanently harm the interests of students.
Shiksha has earlier also reported the CLAT 2026 paper leak allegation right after the conclusion of the examination, where similar allegations were made by CLAT 2026 aspirants.

As per the latest update, the petitioners have requested the Supreme Court to set up an independent committee to check whether the allegations are genuine and to find out how the leak happened. If the allegations are proved right, the petitioners have requested a CLAT 2026 re-exam under the supervision of the Supreme Court.
