National Law Universities are statutory bodies which are incorporated by state legislation. Due to their public orientation, they are required to follow standard reservation policy with some local adjustments for the domicile of the state.

Candidates are required to select their CLAT exam centre from the given list in the application form. Candidates are required to select three exam centres and the Consortium will allot them any one of them. Consortium can allot any other exam centre too in case of unavailability of exam centre.

Candidates are required to complete their CLAT 2027 registration with the help of their mobile number and email ID. After that, the CLAT account credentials will be generated. After login with the newly generated credentials, fill the details in the CLAT Application form and pay the CLAT registration fee to complete the CLAT application process.

There is no upper age limit for CLAT; any Indian national, including NRIs, OCI and PIO, can apply. Age does not restrict eligibility.

Before submitting, tick the declaration checkbox on the last page of the CLAT 2027 online application and click Save to finalise your registration.

While filling the CLAT 2027 form, go to ‘Category and Seat Reservation’ to select your reservation status and NLU preferences, then proceed to the next section.
