HPU Shimla law admission form 2025 for the 5-year BA LLB programme is available till May 31, 2025, followed by the form correction process till June 3, 2025, for all interested and eligible candidates.
University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), the law department of Himachal Pradesh University, is inviting applications for a five-year law programme, i.e. BA LLB Hons for for eligible candidates. Interested students can apply for the HPU BA LLB course for the academic session 2025-26 till May 31, 2025. However, students are suggested not to wait for the Himachal Pradesh University BA LLB programme registration last date and apply for the programme at the earliest to avoid last-minute discrepancies.
HPU BA LLB Programme Seat Intake
The Himachal Pradesh University BA LLB seat intake is 120. The admission to the programme is based on merit in marks obtined in +2 on the 120 seats being offered by the university. Out of 120, out of which 75 subsidized and 45 non-subsidized seats are to be filled. Students having 50% marks in their class 12 are eligible to appear for the BA LLB programme.
Before filling the HPU LLB application form, students are required to check the prospectus to know the eligibility criteria, process for admission, fees and other relevant details.
The BA LLB Hons registration process for HPU is underway till May 31, 2025. Students can fill the application form in online mode at nadmissions.hpushimla.in. Those students who will complete the admission form and submit it before the deadline will be able to edit their application form before June 3, 2025.
The authorities will conduct the counselling process for admission to BA LLB programme on June 12, 2025. Further the merit list will be releasd on June 19, 2025.

HPU Management Aptitude Test (HPU MAT) 2026 registrations will commence in second week of April 2026. Candidates interested in admission to MBA programme of Himachal Pradesh University must fill the online application form on or before the last date. The HPU MAT application form can be filled in online mode only. HPU will commence the HPU MAT 2026 registrations soon after the release of notification. Candidates must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligbility criteria before filling the application form. To complete the HPU MAT 2026 registrations candidates must ensure to pay the HPU MAT application fee of INR 1000. The application fee can be paid in online mode only.

Aspirants can apply for lateral entry in Information Technology, CSE, ECE, etc. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with other elective subjects with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) can apply for BTech (LE).
