Is APAAR ID Mandatory for MH CET Law Registration 2026?
Initially mandated, APAAR ID is no longer mandatory for the MH CET Law 2026 registration. Students can fill 3- year law application form till February 28, 2026, while the 5-year law form can be filled till March 15, 2026. Read further to know more.
Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell is accepting online applications for its 3 year and 5 year LLB courses. Interested and eligible students can fill the online application forms at cetcell.mahacet.org. While the MH CET Law Registration 2026 is ongoing for its 3 year and 5 year law courses, students have a constant doubt about is APAAR ID mandatory for MH CET Law Registration 2026?
Maharashtra CET Law Admission 2026: Is APAAR ID Necessary?
The MH CET Cell has announced that the APAAR ID is not mandatory for MH LAW CET 2026 registration. Earlier mandated, the requirement has been lift of following multiple complaints related to technical issues with Aadhaar authentication or DigiLocker. Though not mandatory, it is recommended that students to have an APAAR ID for smooth documentation during the counselling process.

MH Law CET Exam Date 2026
CET CELL Maharashtra will conduct the 3-year law entrance exam on April 1 and 2. The 5-year law entrance test will be conducted on May 8 in online CBT mode.
